Everything we do, we do for an audience of One; Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
We desire to be a place where His presence longs to dwell. We’re not satisfied with visitation, we want habitation. We know that God inhabits the praises of His people so as we lift Him up, He comes.
Ps 22:3
God desires to communicate with His children, we just have to learn to be good listeners.
Our first line of communication with God is through His Word. The Word of God is alive and though it was written thousands of years ago, He is still speaking through it today. Through Holy Spirit, we seek to be good students of the word who can rightly divide the word of truth.
God speaks to His people through His people. Scripture calls us to earnestly desire the gift of Prophecy, which is to speak on behalf of God to build up, encourage and strengthen others. When receiving a prophetic word, it’s important to always seek the Scriptures and wise counsel to test the truth of the word.
God speaks through our mind and spirit, dreams, visions, angelic visitations, situations, and signs and wonders. As we learn to discern the voice of God, we must remember that no freshly spoken word from God will ever contradict what He has already spoken through Scripture.
2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 3:16, John 10:3-4, 14:26, 16:13, Romans 5:5, 1 John 3:24, 1 Corinthians 2:12-16
We see and treat people as the sons and daughters of a loving God.
Jesus is the model for everything we do. He welcomed all while never compromising the message of His Father; our call is to do the same. We don’t fix people, we love people; for it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance. We know that everyone is valuable, so our heart is to call out the best in people and support them in their worst. If Jesus wasn’t sent to condemn the world, we’re sure He hasn’t called us to.
1 Peter 2:17, Romans 2:4, Romans 12:10, John 3:17,12:26
God has full permission to interrupt any structure or plan at any time.
Simply put, we value His leadership far more than ours. While we always come with a prayerful plan in mind, its rightful place is secondary to the ever present voice of God.
Romans 8:14, Galatians 5:18, John 10:27, Proverbs 16:9
We are committed to being a safe place to build faith.
We know that where there is faith there is also mystery; so the reality is, we’re not always going to get it right. We recognize the risk it takes to step out in faith and we celebrate it, regardless of the outcome. We are raising up leaders who burn with a passion for Jesus Christ, walk confidently in their gifts, live their lives dangerous to the enemy, and are transformative to their communities. This all starts with giving people a safe place to try.
Hebrews 11:1,6, 1 Corinthians 2:12-16,14:12, 13:9-12, 29-33, 1 Timothy 4:14
His pleasures are superior to anything the world could offer us.
We were created for relationship with God. He is the only thing that will ever truly satisfy the longing in our hearts. He desires to be known and created us with a desire to know Him: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we take God out of the boxes we’ve put Him in and begin to see more of who He is, the “have-tos” of religion become the “get-tos” of relationship; His desires become our desires and the inferior pleasures of sin lose their appeal.
Psalm 16:11,145:3, Job 5:9, Psalm 37:4,46:4, Philippians 4:4-9, Nehemiah 8:10
Strong families form strong cities that form strong nations.
Family was God’s idea and He created us all to be a part of it. It is the building block to His ultimate plan for creation: to fill the earth with people who bear His image and walk in relationship with Him. While God designed the framework, He also entrusts us to be good stewards of His plan. We believe one of the greatest ways to advance the Kingdom of God is by building families who look and walk like Christ. If we want to see nations transformed, the best place to start is the home.
Genesis 2:18, Ephesians 1:5, 2 Timothy 2:2, Romans 12:10, Ephesians 4:32, Philippians 2:3
We are ALL called to fulfill the Great Commission.
Jesus made it clear that our responsibility as the Church was to make disciples of all nations. This isn’t about being called to “missions” but about living the mission. Wherever God has us, we all have a testimony of the power of Christ working inside of us in which souls are waiting to hear and be saved!
Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8
A heart set on the goodness of God lacks nothing.
Generosity is the natural response to a lifestyle of gratitude. We step into gratitude when we rest and remember God’s goodness in our lives. He is faithful, He is trustworthy, and He is a Father who loves to bless His children. Generosity is a mindset; it’s not just an expression of blessing, it’s the source of it. As we give, it will be given to us pressed down, shaken together, and running over!
2 Cor 9:6-8, 1 Timothy 6:17-19, Proverbs 11:25, Luke 6:38, Matthew 6:19-33
We fight for each other, never against.
Love is compassionate, understanding and wants the best for others. It doesn’t tolerate criticism, favoritism, judgment, gossip or religion that focuses on fear and punishment. Love comes along those who are hurting and never rushes the process. We are committed to steward the potential in people. We desire that ALL would be empowered and equipped to reach their dreams, walk in their purpose and live their lives to the fullest in Christ.
1 Corinthians 13, Philipians 2:3, Matthew 7:1-5, 1 John 4:18-19
Everything starts and is sustained in the secret place.
Prayer refines our ideas, builds faith and brings heaven to earth. We recognize that as we pray, we are given access to the very throne of God. We believe that it is impossible to pray and nothing happens. Whether in the spirit or the physical, every prayer has power. The foundation for this ministry has been and will always be a people who never stop praying.
